{readmore:Read more|link}EcoPower was launched in 1999 with the 8350 model. The basic idea behind the development of EcoPower was to utilise the strong construction of SisuDiesel engines (today AGCO Sisu Power).
Physics tells us that parasitic losses (transmission and hydraulic losses) increase in relation to the square of the rotational speed. Accordingly, lowering engine speeds decreases parasitic losses, thus lowering specific fuel consumption.
